Captain's Club
Congratulations to all our members, it is with great pleasure that we post the Motorcycle Ride for Dad Captain’s Club for 2010!
This year we are again posting two version of the list. The first list contains the names of new members and members that have changed achievement levels only. The second list is entire Club membership.
In 2010 we were fortunate to have once again experienced great results in what has been described as a “tough-economy” year. That speaks volumes about you folks and those that support you. Our club membership has continues to rocket, from an awesome 945 in 2009 to a new high of 1273 in 2010! That is more than double our 2008 membership with our members now responsible, collectively, for over 3.9 million of the dollars donated by the MRFD in the fight against prostate cancer!
We have reached some other milestones as well. This is the second year in a row that we have had the honour of introducing a new Triple-Diamond achiever at $71,052.55 ! Well done , Dennis Jackson ! There are now seven Double Diamond recipients, each over $25,000.00 and an incredible fourty-one members now wearing the Diamond pin at more than $10,000.00 each! Money wasn’t the only achievement, we are proud that recent expansion has now given us Captain’s Club members in both the Yukon and North West Territories !
Again to everyone, congratulations, wear your pins and patches proudly and keep up the good work. The next issue of Roadside, the official magazine of the Captain’s Club, is in the works and will be out soon.
This year we are running a little late, as we had to merge the Ride lists with the Xth Anniversary Tour list and we also took the time to apply some new vetting software to reduce the number of duplications and split identities. We anticipate the shipping of the awards packages to commence in the third week of December, and as always we appreciate your patience.
New Feature ! In past years some members have had trouble finding themselves on the list. The list of New Members & Level Changes and the Main list are both presented in descending order of combined monies raised. We realize you may not know exactly what your total is, so to make it easier we’ve added an alphabetical version of the Main list for you.
